Why We Built This

We noticed that most tip calculators online had the same problems:

• Slow, clunky interfaces
• Too much text before you can actually use the calculator
• Not optimized for mobile devices
• Require constant internet connection

We set out to build something different — a calculator that puts the tool first and everything else second.

Our Philosophy

Speed over features. We'd rather have 5 features that work perfectly than 50 features that are slow and confusing.

Mobile-first, always. Most people use tip calculators on their phones at restaurants. We designed for that use case first.

Free for everyone. Financial tools shouldn't have paywalls. Our calculator is and always will be completely free.

Privacy-respecting. We don't collect your data. Your calculations stay on your device.
